What you will do
- Read requirement documents before development starts, and raise gaps, contradictions and missing cases
- Write and run test cases: functional, regression, boundary and negative
- Check each release on staging and confirm the result in writing before it goes to the business
- Test REST APIs and back office screens, not only what customers see
- Record defects with reproduction steps, severity, environment and evidence, and retest every fix
- Keep the regression pack for your products up to date as they change
What we’re looking for
- Studying, or finished studying, Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field
- A real interest in software quality and testing
- Some hands-on web application testing, and an API tool such as Postman
- Careful reading, and the habit of raising a problem early
- Clear written English: an engineer should be able to reproduce your bug from your report alone
- A reliable internet connection and a quiet place to work, since the role is remote
